Music player

Your phone includes a music player for listening to music tracks or other MP3 or AAC

sound files. Sound files saved in Gallery > Music files or Recordings are automatically

detected.

Warning: Listen to music at a moderate level. Continuous exposure to high

volume may damage your hearing. Do not hold the device near your ear when the

loudspeaker is in use, because the volume may be extremely loud.
Select Menu > Media > Music player.
To start or pause playing, press the middle selection key.
To skip to the beginning of the current track, scroll left.
To skip to the previous track, press the scroll key to the left twice.
To skip to the next track, scroll right.
To rewind, press and hold the scroll key to the left.
To fast forward, press and hold the scroll key to the right.
To adjust the volume when playing, scroll up or down.
To mute or unmute the player, press #.
To let the music player play in the background, press the end key. To stop the music

player, press and hold the end key.

13. Applications

Your phone software may include some games and Java applications specially designed

for this Nokia phone.
Select Menu > Applications.
To launch a game or application, select Games or Collection. Scroll to a game or

application, and select Open.
To view the amount of memory available for game and application installations, select

Options > Memory status.
To download a game or application, select Options > Downloads > Game

downloads or App. downloads. Your phone supports J2ME™ Java applications. Ensure

that the application is compatible with your phone before downloading it.

Important: Only install and use applications and other software from trusted

sources, such as applications that are Symbian Signed or have passed the Java

testing.

Downloaded applications may be saved in Gallery instead of Applications.
